Healthy Eating

Incorporating exercise into your daily daily routine is one of the best things you can do for yourself. But if you're in the exercise game to see specific results, you can't rely on exercising alone. Nutrition plays a vital role in achieving and maintaining your personal goals.

Nutritional advice and diet trends have never been hard to come by - health professionals and the media have often played a major role in delivering nutritional information and advice to consumers. More recently however, it has become all too confusing to know what's actually 'good' and what's not. At Titan Fitness we want to eliminate all the confusion for you by providing easy to understand nutritional advice to help you make educted decisions about your health. Our programs focus on healthy, easy meals that - when combined with regular exercise - will get you on the right track to attaining and maintaining your health, fitness and appearance goals. And yes - great tasting recipes are included! Ask one of our friendly staff about how you can get your hands on one of these nifty programs now!

Sivananda Yoga

Based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda, Swami Vishnudevananda developed a system known as “The 5 points of yoga”. He was instructed by his Guru to go to the West and teach. So he did and created an easy-to-learn system of yoga so that people could learn and include it in their daily lives. This is Sivananda Yoga.

Yoga is simply a tool one can use to help gain control over their physical body, energy (prana) and mind. This is what Sivananda Yoga is based on.Yoga is not just an “asana” practice - it is so much more than that! However, yoga does begin with the physical body, so learning to take control of the body and establishing an integral and safe asana practice is vital.

At Universal Truth we will not only teach you an asana practice you can incorporate into your daily life but guide you through the 5 points of yoga:

  • Proper Exercise (Asana)
  • Proper Breathing (Pranayama)
  • Proper Relaxation (Savasan)
  • Proper Diet (Vegetarian)
  • Positive Thinking and Meditation
